Isabel Pires

Isabel Pires is currently working as a Lecturer in Cancer Biology at The University of Manchester and as an Honorary Lecturer at Hull York Medical School. With a background in Biomedical Science, Isabel's research interests focus on cellular signalling pathways in hypoxic tumour microenvironments. Isabel has previously worked as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Hull and held various roles at institutions such as the University of Oxford and the British Science Association. Isabel completed their PhD in Pharmacology at The University of Manchester and holds a Licenciatura degree in Biology from Universidade de Coimbra.
