Joakim Banestig

Joakim Banestig has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Joakim most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at Hult International Business School, starting in December 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of VP Global Legal, Assurance & Corporate Affairs at Oriflame Cosmetics from January 2023 to December 2023. Joakim also worked as the Group CFO at Bruks Siwertell Global from January 2018 to December 2022. Before that, they held various positions at Telia Company, including CFO Enterprise Business and Head of Corporate Control. Joakim Banestig also has experience working for Oriflame, EF Education First, maxit Group, Scancem East, and Scancem Group in different financial and business development roles.

Joakim Banestig completed their Executive MBA in General Management from the Stockholm School of Economics Executive Education in the years 2002 to 2004. Joakim also participated in the International Management Program at The Wharton School in 2003. Earlier, they attended Uppsala University from 1990 to 1994, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. In 1994, they attended the Swedish Armed Forces Language School (Tolkskolan) and became a 2nd Lieutenant. Joakim also served as a Sergeant in the Royal Dragoons (K1) in 1993. In 1989, they attended Olympiaskolan.
