Matthew Colford is an accomplished investment professional and entrepreneur with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as an Investment Partner at Human Capital, Matthew collaborates with exceptional founders to deploy capital and build high-performing teams. As the Founder of GSBuilds, Matthew established a platform that supports thousands of founders and startups. Prior experience includes serving as General Manager at Applied Intuition, Partner at Andreessen Horowitz, and Special Assistant & Policy Advisor at the U.S. Department of State, where Matthew engaged with the White House National Security Council. Additionally, Matthew co-authored a book with Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis and contributed to the Hoover Institution. Matthew's educational background includes an MBA and JD from Stanford University, and a BA in Political Science from the same institution.
