William Pavan

William Pavan has extensive experience in biomedical research and education. Holding the position of Senior Investigator at the National Institutes of Health since 1994, William has also served as the Director of the NHGRI Intramural Training Office since 2011. Prior to these roles, William completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Princeton University from 1991 to 1994. William earned a PhD in Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1991, and a BS in Animal Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1985.
