Ellen Kahn

Ellen Kahn has extensive experience in leadership roles focused on advocacy and support for LGBTQ+ individuals and families. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Programs and Partnerships at the Human Rights Campaign since November 2005, Kahn previously directed the Children, Youth and Families Program within the organization, which is dedicated to achieving full equality for LGBTQ+ Americans. From 2006 to November 2012, Kahn held the position of Board President at Rainbow Families DC, an organization that provides resources and community for LGBT-headed families. Additionally, Kahn worked as the Director of the Lesbian Services Program at Whitman-Walker Clinic from October 1999 to November 2005. Educationally, Kahn holds a Master's in Social Work from Bryn Mawr College and a Bachelor's in Political Science and Government from Temple University.
