Erin Wilson

Senior Director, Democracy Protection at Human Rights First

Erin Wilson has extensive experience in policy and leadership roles related to the prevention of hate and extremism. Erin is currently the Senior Director of Extremism and Human Rights at Human Rights First. Prior to this, they served as the Director of the Presidential Initiative to Counter Hate at the D.C. Office of the Attorney General, where they also served as a Senior Policy Advisor. Erin has also held positions in the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC), where they were a Senior Policy Strategist and the Acting Director of the National Task Force. Erin Wilson also worked as a Senior Policy Officer and Senior Analyst at the NCTC, focusing on violent extremism prevention. Erin began their career at the U.S. Department of State.

Erin Wilson's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Michigan State University. Erin also pursued further education at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree. Erin'sfield of study at LSE focused on Comparative Politics and Conflict Studies.
