Hannah Van Dijcke is currently serving as a Legal & Research Officer at the Human Rights Foundation, a role held since June 2022, and previously worked as a Legal and Policy Intern. Notable past experiences include serving as a research assistant for Ms. Marja Lehto at the United Nations International Law Commission and participating in the United Nations General Assembly's Third Committee on Social, Humanitarian & Cultural Issues. Additional experience encompasses a Pro Bono Project at the Legal Assistance Centre focused on gender research and advocacy, and working as a legal advisor at the Institute For Equality of Women and Men, an organization dedicated to combating gender-based discrimination. Prior positions also include a judicial clerk role at the Council for Alien Law Litigation. Hannah's academic credentials include a Doctor of the Science of Law (S.J.D) focused on Legislating Hate Speech and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Human Rights from the University of Michigan Law School, along with degrees from KU Leuven and Université libre de Bruxelles, among others.
