Wisla Heneghan

Wisla Heneghan is the current Deputy Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer at Human Rights Watch. Wisla has also served as the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel at The Nature Conservancy from January 2013 to February 2021, as well as the Vice President, Associate General Counsel at Staples, Inc. from November 2000 to December 2012. Prior to that, they were an associate at Goodwin Procter LLP from January 1998 to December 2000, where they focused on corporate and institutional real estate investment matters, and at Mintz Levin from September 1996 to December 1998, where they worked on litigation and real estate.

Wisla Heneghan's educational career would include completing a JD at Boston University School of Law.
