Tyler Beam

Tyler Beam has a strong background in data analytics and business intelligence. Tyler started their career as an Assistant Store Manager at Pacific Sunwear, where they successfully managed financial processes and exceeded revenue goals. Tyler then joined Equian as a Data Analyst and interned with the Data Infrastructure Team. After their internship, they led a team of Data Specialists and implemented department processes and procedures. Tyler later joined Humana as a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, where they collaborated with the Healthcare Services Strategy Advancement team and served as a data steward for multiple datasets. Tyler also contributed to the creation of the first Service Operations Business Intelligence team at Author by Humana. In their most recent position as a Data and Analytics Lead at Humana, they implemented data and reporting infrastructure for corporate Medicaid specialty value-based programs and championed the adoption of advanced analytics tools.

Tyler Beam has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Western Kentucky University. In addition to their undergraduate degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include "Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy" from MIT Sloan School of Management (obtained in September 2023), "LSU Tiger Trailblazer" from LSU Online & Continuing Education (obtained in July 2023), "Leading People and Teams Specialization" from the University of Michigan (obtained in October 2021), "Google Data Analytics Certification" from Google (obtained in July 2021), and "Certified Return on Investment Professional (CRP)" from the ROI Institute, Inc (obtained in May 2019).
