Madison Miketa is a wildlife scientist at Humane Society International, a position held since June 2020. Previously, Madison worked as a postdoctoral scientist at Georgetown University, focusing on dolphin behavioral ecology and conservation as part of the Shark Bay Dolphin Research Project. Additional experience includes roles as a wildlife policy intern at The Humane Society of the United States and as a doctoral researcher at Georgetown University, where the focus was again on the Shark Bay Dolphin Research Project. Earlier research assistant positions spanned various institutions, including work on studies related to Australian Humpback whales, sharks, and pinniped cognition. Madison holds an ScB with Honors in Biology from Brown University and a PhD in Biology from Georgetown University.
