Alexandra Spencer

Alexandra Spencer is an experienced animal welfare professional with a background in behavior management and rescue operations. Currently serving as the Behavior-Back of House and Cruelty/Rescue Manager at the Humane Society of Huron Valley since May 2022, Alexandra has previously held significant roles, including Behavior and Training Animal Services Manager and Adoption Supervisor at San Diego Humane Society from January 2021 to May 2022. Additional experience includes serving as Behavioral Health Supervisor at Michigan Humane Society, Animal Services Supervisor and Humane Law Enforcement Officer at San Diego Humane Society, and various positions in animal care and research, starting as a Dog Bather at PetSmart and culminating with a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology Zoology from the University of Michigan.
