Barbara Rose

Barbara Rose is a seasoned veterinarian with a diverse background in animal care, currently serving at the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region since July 2017, focusing on shelter needs including high quality high volume spay and neuter surgeries, as well as emergency medical care. Prior experience includes a role at Powers Pet Emergency and Specialty from December 2013 to July 2017, where Barbara managed emergency cases and facilitated treatment plans. Earlier veterinary practice took place at Indian Tree Animal Hospital and through a rotating internship at Friendship Hospital for Animals, exposing Barbara to various aspects of veterinary medicine. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
