Abigail Kay

Support and Community Champion at HumanForest

Abigail Kay has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. Abigail most recently worked as a Support and Community Champion at HumanForest, starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they volunteered as an Animal Care Volunteer at Mayfields Kennels and Cattery Pet Hotel and as a Volunteer Assistant in Nature and Education at The Green Team (Edinburgh and Lothians) Ltd, both in 2023.

In 2022, Abigail worked as a Customer Service Specialist at Cuckoo until May 2023, and previously held the position of Senior Customer Service Representative at Oxford University Press from April to December 2022. In the same year, they also served as a Member Pioneer at Co-op, where they focused on bringing together Co-op members, colleagues, and local causes to improve communities.

Abigail'searlier experience includes working as a Delivery Driver at Waitrose & Partners from September 2021 to April 2022, and as a Supervisor at Co-op from March 2016 to August 2021. Abigail began their career as a Customer Service Representative at Nisa Retail in September 2014, where they worked until January 2016.

Abigail Kay pursued their education in a chronological manner. Abigail began their studies at Winstanley College from 2013 to 2015, where they obtained a UAL Art and Design Diploma in Fine/Studio Arts. Subsequently, Abigail attended the University of Stirling from 2017 to 2021, earning a degree in Film and Media with a specialization in Communication and Media Studies. Finally, in 2023 to 2024, they enrolled at Open Study College and completed a Level 3 program in Zoology.
