Eliot Kahn has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Eliot founded HumanKind Homes in 2018, where they serve as the CEO/Founder. Their role involves utilizing modern technology to provide affordable and eco-friendly housing solutions. Eliot has developed a unique 'kit of bricks' made from geopolymer concrete that can be interlocked to create different home designs. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Development Engineer at Rafferty Engineering from November 2017 to September 2018. In this role, they contributed to the development of new products. From August 2016 to April 2017, Eliot worked as a Manufacturing Technician at Other Machine Co. There, they focused on blending hardware innovation with accessible software to simplify the design and manufacturing process. Before that, they were a Mechanical Engineer at HaptX Inc. from May 2015 to August 2016. At HaptX, they played a crucial role in designing and testing mechanisms for a full-body thermal and haptic virtual experience. Eliot also gained valuable experience as the Student Director at Cal Poly Innovation Sandbox from April 2014 to June 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at Cal Poly University Store from June 2013 to April 2014. Eliot Kahn attended Clark University between 2006 and 2009 to study Physics. Eliot then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2013 to 2017.
