Joy's career highlights include their role as Art Director for the Los Angeles Times, where they led the design and publishing of numerous custom pieces across 7 years, driving millions of dollars in ad revenue. Joy has also served as Creative Director for JoJo Creative, and has led the end-to-end production of high-profile publishing projects for various creative and publishing organizations.
Joy's passion for using compelling visuals and messaging to build brands and publishing platforms into high-impact sources for engagement is evident in their work. Joy is a strategic collaborator with a strong command of visual communication design principles, and an ability to quickly weave deep knowledge in color theory, typography, design esthetic, and imagery into emotionally charged, wholly engaging creative concepts and executions.
Joy is currently the Head of Brand & Design at Humans For AI. In this role, they are responsible for leading the creation of advertiser / event-focused standalone publications.
