Emer Taheny

Emer Taheny has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Currently, Emer is the Head of Operations UK & Ireland at humm group, where they oversee all operational activities, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, and implements process improvements. Prior to that, Emer worked as an eCommerce Project Manager at Lidl Ireland, where they successfully led strategic digital projects and managed project integration into existing business processes. Emer also worked as a Digital Project Manager at Kooba and a Project Manager at Communicorp Media, where they collaborated with clients and stakeholders to deliver satisfactory solutions. Additionally, Emer served as the Chief Operations Officer and Operations Manager at AppliancesDelivered.ie, where they provided strategic oversight of operations, spearheaded business operations, and managed website development projects. Emer also gained experience as a Digital Channel & Operations Executive at BuyAndSell.ie, a Sales Advisor at Xtra-vision Ltd, a Sales Assistant at Sunglass Hut, a Brand Ambassador at Verve Marketing, and a Sales Assistant at HMV.

Emer Taheny completed their Master's Degree in Project Management from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School in 2018. Prior to that, they obtained an HND in Radio Production from Ballyfermot College of Further Education and a BA (Hons) in Media Production Management with a 1.1 grade from Dublin City University. Emer also completed their high school education with a Leaving Certificate from Mercy College Sligo.

Emer Taheny has additional certifications including PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from AXELOS Global Best Practice, which they obtained in June 2020. Emer also received a certification in GDPR for employees from iACT in May 2018.
