Amina Patak's work experience includes a range of roles in the design industry. Amina began their career as a Graphic Design Intern at Çilek in 2006 and later interned as an Interior Design Intern at the same company in 2007. Amina then worked as a Junior Architect at Atölye Mimarlık from 2008 to 2010, followed by a brief role as a Junior Architect at Mimarlar + Han Tumertekin in 2009. In 2013, they joined hummel as Head Graphic Designer and held this position for an unspecified period. Amina also worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer for Naveena Denim Mills from an unidentified start date in 2018 until November 2022. In 2021, they worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer for Sirr seramik and Truggs. Amina then joined Shyft in 2022 as a Senior Product Designer, where they remained until February 2023. Currently, Amina works as a Product Designer at the Ministry of Programming, starting in March 2023.
Amina Patak holds a Master of Architecture - MArch degree from Istanbul Technical University, which they obtained from 2013 to 2019. Prior to their master's degree, they earned a Bachelor of Architecture - BArch from the same university from 2007 to 2013. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications related to user experience and digital accessibility. These certifications include "User Experience: The Beginner’s Guide" from The Interaction Design Foundation in April 2023, "Introduction to Digital Accessibility" from Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF) in March 2023, and "The Power of Storytelling in UX" from The Interaction Design Foundation in February 2023.
