Julie Castelbaum

Julie Castelbaum is the current Chief of Staff at Hummingbird. Prior to their current role, Julie was an intern at Pinwheel from December 2020 to April 2021. Julie also interned at Runa from September 2020 to May 2021, where they were an MBA Fellow at Angel Ventures, a Mexico City-based Venture Capital firm focused on early-stage investments in Latin America. From May 2020 to August 2020, Julie was an MBA Summer Associate, Investments at Accion Venture Lab. From March 2020 to January 2021, they were an Investment Fellow at Amplifyher Ventures. From October 2019 to May 2020, Julie was an MBA Fellow at Angel Ventures. Julie is currently an MBA / MA candidate at The Wharton School and was previously a Business Manager to the COO of Global Banking Mexico at HSBC from July 2013 to May 2019.

Julie Castelbaum attended Uppsala University, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Swedish Culture, Language and Economics. Julie then attended Washington University in St. Louis, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies and Anthropology. Finally, they attended The Wharton School, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
