Adrian Basson

Adrian Basson is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the retail and digital sectors. As the Founder and Chairman of Digicloud Africa since October 2018, Adrian has been pivotal in driving innovation. In addition, Adrian has served as CEO of Hungry Lion since January 2017, having previously held the positions of Chief Digital Officer and General Manager at The Shoprite Group of Companies from 2001 to 2017. Adrian's academic background includes a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Stellenbosch University, completed from 1995 to 2000, along with earlier education at Paul Roos Gymnasium and D.F. Malan High School.
