Emily Young has a diverse work experience, starting in 2014 as a Server at Stewman's Lobster Pound. Emily utilized their hospitality skills and served at banquets and weddings while also assisting with guest inquiries and maintaining restaurant cleanliness. In 2015, they worked as a Server at Bella's Casual Dining.
In 2017, Emily worked as an Editing Intern at Concord Monitor where they managed social media accounts, conducted interviews, researched and collected data, wrote stories, and copy-edited news stories for both the website and print version.
During the same year, they also worked as a Server at When Pigs Fly Bread, where they showcased their communication, time management, multi-tasking, organization, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills. Emily memorized, promoted, and communicated specials and product information while also handling phone lines for take-out orders and general inquiries.
In 2018, they joined milk + honey spa as a Concierge until 2020, where they had excellent customer service skills.
Most recently, Emily is working as the Director of Operations at HUNGRY, a position they have held since February 2020.
Emily Young attended Proctor Academy from 2009 to 2013 and obtained a high school degree. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in English/journalism from the University of New Hampshire, completing their studies from 2013 to 2017.
