Sam Ackley

Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Hunter Communications

Sam Ackley has a diverse work experience spanning over several years.

Starting in 2001, Sam worked as a Litigation Assistant at Harrang Long Gary Rudnick P.C. Here, they performed a range of paralegal activities, including trial and exhibit preparation, research, and external communications. They also provided office support, IT assistance, and acted as a marketing liaison.

In 2005, Sam began working as a Freelance Writer, where they wrote for magazines, newspapers, websites, and marketing/advertising groups on a part-time basis. They sought out interesting and challenging opportunities in any medium.

In 2006, Sam joined Hunter Communications as a Contracts Manager. Their responsibilities included overseeing contracts for the purchase or sale of equipment, materials, products, or services. They examined performance requirements and estimates of costs, and compiled data for preparing estimates. In 2012, they transitioned to the role of Operations Manager, overseeing administrative, contractual, legal, and financial functions. They were also involved in budget creation and collaborated with the CEO. In 2013, Sam became the Chief Operating Officer (COO), where they focused on ensuring organizational effectiveness and overseeing various activities within the company.

Sam Ackley attended Lewis & Clark College from 1996 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. During the same period, Sam also pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Lewis & Clark College. In the year 2000, Sam briefly studied at the University of Glasgow, but did not complete a degree program.
