Mark Dixon joined HMRI in 2019 to develop and maintain the Core Facilities and environmental health and safety (EHS) programs. Mark works with HMRI staff to ensure quality and safety programs are implemented and maintained throughout the organization. He also oversees the operations of HMRI’s Imaging Center and manages the properties. Before joining HMRI, Mark held a lot of research and managerial roles with contract research organizations (CROs), finding a niche in ISO-certified laboratories in highly regulated environments. Mark received both his BS in Nutritional Science and MS in Food Safety from Michigan State University.
