Alessandro Puccetti has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Alessandro began as an Exchange Student at San Diego State University in 2013, then moved to CAIDA, UCSD as a Visiting Grad Student in 2014. In 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant at both UC Santa Barbara and IIJ Innovation Institute. In 2016, they worked as a Software Engineer at Kinvolk GmbH, and since 2017 they have been a Data Platform Engineer at Huq Industries, where they design and develops Huq data platform and infrastructure on Google Platform using serverless or fully-managed systems like BigQuery and Google Workflows, as well as SQL data modeling for internal usage and client products.
Alessandro Puccetti obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Computer Engineering from Università di Pisa in 2011 and a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from the same institution in 2015. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from Coursera, including Machine Learning By Stanford in June 2020, Building Batch Data Pipelines on GCP, Building Resilient Streaming Analytics Systems on GCP, Data Engineering with Google Cloud Specialization, Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals, Smart Analytics, Machine Learning, and AI on GCP, and Modernizing Data Lakes and Data Warehouses with GCP.
