Heidi Schuler has a diverse work experience in various educational and language assessment roles. Heidi started their career in 2009 as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Northern Arizona University, teaching composition courses. Heidi then worked as an ESL Instructor, teaching English as a Second Language to native Arabic and Chinese speakers.

Heidi worked as an English Proficiency Test Form Reviewer/Test Rater at Michigan Language Assessment, evaluating exam drafts and scoring speaking and writing test responses. Heidi also served as a Language Proficiency Test Item Reviewer at ICA Language Services, providing feedback on items drafted for government tests of foreign language proficiency.
Most recently, they joined HurixDigital in 2022 as a University Course Assessment Developer. In this role, they review and revises assessment materials for graduate and undergraduate courses and ensures alignment with course standards.
