Esra Cetin

Esra Cetin is a medical professional with diverse experience in various roles within healthcare and research. As a Resident Doctor at Hurley Medical Center since June 2022, Esra has built upon prior experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago from September 2020 to June 2022. Additionally, Esra served as a Health Equity Scholar at the Center for Health Equity Transformation (CHET) affiliated with Northwestern University School of Medicine between March 2021 and May 2022, and worked as a Visiting Scientist at the University of Illinois at Chicago earlier in 2020. Prior experience includes a role as a General Practitioner with the Turkish Ministry of Health from September 2016 to March 2017, and impactful experiences as a Medical Student at Washington University in St. Louis and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2012. Esra holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt Üniversitesi, completed in 2016.
