Carolyn Suttles

Prior to joining Huron Capital, Carolyn was a High School English teacher and Senior Advisor, working in Detroit public charter schools. Prior to teaching in the classroom full-time, Carolyn coordinated internships, job shadows and volunteer experiences for University Prep Schools located in downtown Detroit. During her time at UPrep, Carolyn created long-lasting relationships with many different Detroit organizations and businesses such as the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan, The Belle Isle Conservancy, and Wayne State University. As part of her role, Carolyn was also responsible for the planning and execution of district-wide career fairs, the annual internship showcase, and various training events.

Master’s Degree in Education from Marygrove College.

Bachelor’s Degree in English from Michigan State University.
