Samantha Snyder has a diverse work experience in the field of swimming and aquatics. Samantha started their career in 2001 as an Assistant USA Swimming Coach and American Red Cross Swim Instructor at Romeo Washington Bruce Parks and Recreation. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as a Swim Instructor and Lifeguard at Eastern Michigan University. In 2013, they became a USMS Certified Coach and held various coaching roles, including Head Coach of the U.S. Masters Swim Team and Safety Director at U.S. Masters Swimming. Samantha also worked as an Aquatics Department Supervisor and Head Coach for the Summer Swim Team at Life Time Inc. and as a Head Coach for the HVU Middle School Swimming & Diving team and Assistant Coach for the HVU Boys and Girls High School Swimming & Diving teams at Huron Valley Schools. Samantha's experience demonstrates their expertise and dedication in coaching and promoting swimming.
Samantha Snyder attended Georgia Southern University from 2009 to 2010, where they studied Law. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2006, they attended Eastern Michigan University and pursued a degree in Elementary Education and Teaching. In addition to their education, Samantha has obtained several certifications related to coaching and safety, including Level 2 Certified Coach from the American Swimming Coaches Association and U.S. Masters Swimming, Certified Coach from USA Swimming, Oxygen Administration from the American Red Cross, and Certified Interscholastic Coach (Swimming and Diving) from the National Federation of State High School Associations. Samantha also holds certifications in American Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate (Additional Specialties), CPR/AED/First Aid, and Open Water Safety Director from U.S. Masters Swimming.
