Michael Cooley

Michael Cooley has over 18 years of experience in IT and network security, currently serving as the Director of Splunk Operations at Hurricane Labs since August 2015. Prior to this role, Michael worked as a Network Security Engineer and Network Analyst at Firelands Regional Medical Center, where responsibilities included maintaining server infrastructure and assisting in network equipment design and deployment. Experience also includes positions as Lead IT Specialist at Magruder Hospital and Technician at Geek Squad, focusing on end-user support and PC diagnostics. Michael holds two Associate degrees in Computer Information Systems and Computer Networking Support from Terra State Community College, along with a diploma in Computer Communications Network Technician from The Technology Center. Educational background includes a diploma from Clyde Senior High School.
