Andy Black has extensive work experience in various roles within the manufacturing industry. Andy started their career as a Design Engineer at Arandell Corporation in 2004 and later worked as a Project Engineer and Continuous Improvement Engineer. In 2009, they became an Account Manager at HUSCO International and subsequently held positions as an OEM & Global Quality Manager and a Manager - New Program Sourcing. In 2015, they were promoted to Product Director at HUSCO International, where they led a team in new product development and ensured program targets were met through customer and supplier engagement. In addition to their manufacturing industry experience, Andy also served as a Committee Member at Acts Housing starting from 2020.

Andy Black obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University in 2003. Andy then went on to earn an MBA from the same university in 2007. In 2016, they attended the Advanced Management Program at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Additionally, Andy Black holds a certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt from Sigmax Solutions/Milwaukee School of Engineering, obtained in 2007.
