Sezan al-Sultan

Sezan Al-Sultan has a diverse work experience in the legal field. They are currently serving as a Senior Legal Counsel (Head of Group Legal) at Huspy since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Legal Counsel (Group Legal) at Rain from January 2022 to May 2023. They also held the position of Legal Counsel at GEMS Education from October 2019 to December 2021. Sezan Al-Sultan began their legal career as a Trainee Solicitor at Allen & Overy from September 2017 to September 2019. They gained further experience as a Legal Intern at Herbert Smith Freehills, Clifford Chance LLP, State of Mississippi Office of Capital Post-Conviction Counsel, Hogan Lovells, and NBC News, before joining Wilson Law PLC as a Legal Intern from July 2011 to December 2011.

Sezan Al-Sultan attended Oakton High School from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a High School Diploma with Advanced Placement. Sezan then attended William & Mary from 2008 to 2012 and received a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Psychology and Hispanic Studies. During their time at William & Mary, they also participated in the William & Mary DC Institute Fellow program in 2012, focusing on New Media Institute. Sezan furthered their education at the University of Warwick - School of Law from 2013 to 2016, studying Law. In 2017, they attended BPP Law School and completed the Legal Practice Course with Business. Sezan has additional certifications, including being a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales from the Solicitors Regulation Authority, as well as Legal Research Certifications from Westlaw and LexisNexis.
