Alyssa Villarreal

Alyssa Villarreal is the Academic Dean. She oversees Hutchison’s academic program and furthers the integration of the school’s curricula across all four divisions. Ms. Villarreal has 20 years’ experience with the Shelby County Schools, most recently as school redesign manager. She also served for many years as the leader of the world languages division. She received Bachelor of Arts degrees in psychology and Spanish from the University of Memphis, a Master of Arts in education and a Master of Science in educational leadership, both from Christian Brothers University. She is currently working toward a Doctorate in Education focusing on curriculum and instruction at the University of Memphis.
