Laure Curran has worked for several companies since 2012. Laure began their career as an Intern at Novellis in 2012, and then worked as an Assistant to Professor at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in the same year. In 2014, they completed an Internship at Syngenta, followed by an Internship at Pomelo sàrl in 2015. That same year, they also worked on a Master's project at Berkeley Lab. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Joint BioEnergy Institute, and then as a Graduate Student at Berkeley Lab from 2017 to 2021. Most recently, Laure has been a Strain Engineer Scientist I at Huue since 2021.
Laure Curran has obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biotechnology from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) between 2017 and 2021. Curran also obtained a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) between 2013 and 2016. Prior to that, Curran obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chimistry and Chemical Engineering from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) between 2011 and 2013. Curran also obtained a 1st Year in Forensic Science and Technology from University of Lausanne - UNIL between 2010 and 2011. Additionally, Curran obtained a Cours de mathématiques spéciales in Mathematiques, Physique, Chimie et Biologie from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) between 2009 and 2010. In 2019, Curran obtained a certification in Yeast Genetics and Genomics from Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.
