Tuomas Valtonen

Tuomas Valtonen is an experienced software developer and consultant with a strong focus on web development and full stack projects. Currently employed as a 100% remote Full Stack Developer at Mezzoforte Oy - Huutokaupat.com since August 2022, Tuomas is involved in high-traffic e-commerce website development. As a freelancer since February 2019, Tuomas has taken on various roles, including project manager and developer. Prior to freelancing, Tuomas worked at Integral Oy from September 2013 to July 2022, contributing as a software designer and full stack developer, particularly in health-care systems using Grails and PHP, and employing agile methodologies. The career began as a Junior Full Stack Developer at European IT Oy Ltd from November 2011 to September 2013, and earlier experience includes a decade-long position in the restaurant sector, alongside mandatory army service as a Corporal in the Finnish Defence Forces. Tuomas holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Software Development from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and has a prior education in electrical work from Omnia ammattiopisto.
