Mathew McCaskey is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in high energy physics and machine learning applications. Currently serving as the Lead Software Engineer for the Regenerative Fuel Cell Project at NASA GRC with HX5, LLC since April 2020, Mathew previously held the same role at VANTAGE PARTNERS LLC. Mathew's background includes a position as a Machine Learning Research Scientist at Comsat Architects, where emphasis was placed on integrating machine learning algorithms into RF communication systems. Additionally, Mathew has experience in academia as an Adjunct Lecturer at Stark State College, and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Kansas. Early career roles include teaching assistant positions and independent software development. Mathew holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical High Energy Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B.S. with honors in Physics and Mathematics from Michigan State University.
