Nicole Nishizawa

Nicole Nishizawa is a Senior Sustainability & ESG Analyst at HXE Partners. Prior to joining HXE Partners, Nicole Nishizawa served as a Business Development Analyst - UNC Kenan Institute of Private Interprise from May 2020 to August 2021 where they identified sustainable operational opportunities, provided recycling and waste divergence solutions, researched USDA grants, strategized implementation of a private pay business model, researched industry best practices, and created a strategy roadmap. Nicole has also interned with the WNY Sustainable Business Roundtable in May 2020 to September 2020 where they supported the Board of Directors of the incipient non-profit with tasks that promote collaboration of public and private sector organizations taking a lead in integrating sustainability into their operations in the Western New York area.

Nicole Nishizawa graduated with a Masters of Environmental Management from Duke University Nicholas School of the Environment. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Economic Policy Analysis, both from Binghamton University. Nicole also holds a certification from Green Business Certification, Inc. as a LEED Green Associate.
