Kostas Chalikias has held a variety of positions in their career. In 2006, they began as an Advanced Design Engineer at Altera. Two years later, they moved to Deutsche Bank as an Associate. In 2010, they were promoted to Vice President at Goldman Sachs. In 2015, they joined Stratagem Technologies as CTO, where they were responsible for turning sports betting into a viable alternative asset class. In 2018, they became Engineering Manager at Blockchain, and in 2020 they moved to Atomico as a Software Engineer. Their most recent role is CTO at Hxro, which they began in 2022.
Kostas Chalikias obtained their BEng First Class in Electronic Engineering from the University of Bristol between 2001 and 2004. Kostas then went on to receive an MSc Distinction in Integrated Circuit Design from Imperial College London between 2004 and 2005.
