Scott R.

Scott R. has over 17 years of experience in the field of information security. Scott is currently serving as the Director of Information Security at Hy Cite Enterprises, LLC. Prior to this, Scott held various positions at PPD, including Director of Information Security and Director of Security Operations. In these roles, they developed information security strategies, coordinated incident response activities, and improved infrastructure and processes for enhanced efficiency and security. Before joining PPD, Scott worked at MetLife as the Director of Cloud and Data Security and IT Infrastructure Security Specialist, where they oversaw security solutions for cloud projects and managed infrastructure security models. Scott also worked at General Dynamics Information Technology as a Principal Information Security Engineer, performing security design, vulnerability management, and administration of IT security systems. Scott began their career at Smartronix as a Network Security Engineer, focusing on security audits and infrastructure designs for the Department of Defense.

Scott R. completed their education with a Master's Degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Western Governors University, from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, graduating between 2001 and 2003. Additionally, Scott R. obtained several certifications, including Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED) from GIAC in April 2015, ISO-27000 Specialist (G2700) from GIAC in March 2014, Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) from EC-Council in April 2013, and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in March 2013.
