Luca Romano

Luca Romano, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Luca is currently the Director of Operations at HYDAC Group, a position they have held since January 2024. Prior to this, Luca worked as the VP of Operations at AKG of America from April 2016 to September 2023. In this role, they managed plant operations and had full P&L control. Before that, Luca worked as a Plant Manager at Airgas from November 2011 to April 2016, where they successfully turned around the largest dry ice plant and was responsible for the full P&L. Earlier in their career, Luca held various roles at Comefri USA, including North America Sales Manager from July 2007 to November 2011 and Production Manager from January 2004 to July 2007. Luca also worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Comefri Spa from January 2002 to January 2004.

Luca Romano, MBA, earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Organizational Leadership from Western Kentucky University, where they studied from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, they hold a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Engineering/Industrial Management from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna. Luca also obtained a Leadership Certificate from WKU Center for Leadership Excellence during their studies from 2009 to 2011.
