Cathryn Jasterzbski is an accomplished goldsmith and silversmith with extensive experience in jewelry design and education. Currently serving as an Instructor of Jewelry and Fashion Design at Hyde Park Central School District since July 2019, Cathryn has also operated a private practice since 2017, focusing on custom and bespoke jewelry creation. Previously, Cathryn held roles such as Adjunct Professor at 92nd Street Y and Instructor at the Rhode Island School of Design, teaching metal and jewelry courses. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design with a Master's degree in Metal and Jewelry Arts, Cathryn also has a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Visual Arts Education from SUNY New Paltz. Notable past positions include Artist In Residence at both Baltimore Jewelry Center and Penland School of Crafts, as well as Goldsmith and Bench Jeweler at Hudson Valley Goldsmith.
