Kate Farnsworth

Kate Farnsworth is an experienced professional in the energy market sector, currently serving as the Market Modelling Lead at Hydro Tasmania since June 2021, where responsibilities include leading market modelling efforts within the Market Modelling and Insights Team. Prior to this role, Kate held positions as a Senior Analyst and Analyst at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) from November 2015 to February 2021, focusing on reliability forecasting. Earlier in the career, Kate worked as a Graduate Analyst at the Independent Market Operator (IMO) for a brief period in 2015.
