Kateryna K. has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Kateryna started their career as a Trading Analyst at Hydro Tasmania in April 2011 and then worked as an Energy Trading Risk Analyst from February 2012 to February 2013. Kateryna further progressed in their career at Hydro Tasmania and served as the Load Forecasting & Data Governance Lead from February 2013 to July 2018, and as the Wholesale Pricing Lead from July 2018 to January 2020. Kateryna'snext role at Hydro Tasmania was Manager - Demand Forecasting and Hydrology, which they held from January 2020 to January 2023. Currently, Kateryna is serving as the Head of Resource Modelling at Hydro Tasmania starting from September 2022.

Prior to working at Hydro Tasmania, Kateryna worked at Powerex as a Renewable Energy Analyst from February 2007 to March 2011. Kateryna also gained research experience at Simon Fraser University, where they worked as a Research Assistant from 2005 to 2008.

Kateryna K. began their education in 2000 and completed it in 2007. From 2000 to 2002, they attended the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute", where they studied Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services. Following that, they attended Simon Fraser University from 2003 to 2007, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Finance and Econometrics.
