Rachel Millett

Rachel Millett is a seasoned professional in occupational health and safety, currently serving as the WHS Operations and Capability Manager at Hydro Tasmania since May 2019. With prior experience as the Principal Safety Advisor at TasNetworks, Rachel led numerous initiatives to enhance contractor management, asbestos management, and safety leadership, consistently exceeding performance targets. Previous roles also include Project Leader (WHS) at Aurora Energy, where Rachel developed tailored safety procedures in line with new WHS laws, and positions at Safe Work Australia that involved creating training packages and contributing to national WHS legislation. Rachel is furthering expertise through a Master of Occupational Health and Safety at Curtin University, building on a strong educational foundation that includes an Advanced Diploma from Southern Cross University and Swinburne University of Technology.
