Shin Wei Tham

Shin Wei Tham currently serves as a Graduate Electrical Engineer at Hydro Tasmania since October 2022. Prior to this role, Shin Wei gained diverse experience in the service and engineering sectors, including a position as a waiter at Dynasty Chinese Restaurant from January 2021 to September 2022, where responsibilities included managing dine-in and take-away orders and preparing beverages and desserts. Shin Wei also completed a research internship at Fiomarine Industries in early 2021, focusing on contemporary anchoring and mooring technology for Egyptian diving sites. Earlier, an engineer internship at IOI Bio Energy Sdn Bhd involved assisting in the operation and maintenance of steam turbines and biomass boilers. Shin Wei holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Australian Maritime College, earned between 2018 and 2021.
