David Heckenberg

David Heckenberg has a diverse work experience, starting as a Business Development Associate at HYDROGRID in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at Technopolis Group from November 2021 to April 2023, focusing on energy and environmental policy evaluation and development. David also served as a Project Manager at ekipa from June to September 2021, handling international innovation projects related to Sustainable Development Goals. Additionally, they had internships at PwC, WWF, Institute of Technology Assessment (ITA), and Austrian Institute of International Politics. David also worked as a Representative and Executive Committee Member for Democrats Abroad from July 2017 to September 2019 and served as a Mentor at the University of Vienna from October 2015 to January 2016.

David Heckenberg obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science from the University of Vienna. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Energy Management at the University of Twente. In 2017, they completed studies in Political Science and Government at the University of Havana. In 2018, they attended the Simon Bolivar Spanish School in Quito. Additionally, they acquired a High School Diploma from Schottengymnasium. David also holds a certification in "Introduction to R" from DataCamp, which they obtained in March 2020.
