Mechanical Engineer 3 at Hydroid

Gregory Kelley has had a varied work experience, starting with a role as a Sailing Instructor and Lead Camp Counselor at the Town of Kingston Recreation Department from 2011 to 2013. In 2013 and 2014, they worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. In 2015, they held a Mechanical Engineering Intern role at SpaceX, where they oversaw the integration of mission critical hardware flown on Commercial Resupply Mission CRS-8 to the International Space Station, provided solutions to integration challenges, and produced process documents which were used to build flight hardware for the CRS-8 mission. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Substitute Teacher at Pembroke Public Schools, and then as a Mechanical Engineer at Raytheon from 2017 to 2020. Most recently, they have been a Mechanical Engineer 3 at HII Unmanned Systems since 2021.

Gregory Kelley attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
