Matt Hutton

Matt Hutton has extensive experience in engineering and leadership roles. Matt is currently the Senior Vice President of Engineering at HydroPoint Data Systems. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Vice President, Engineering and R&D at Tracer, where they managed a large team and oversaw operations across multiple locations. Before that, Matt was the Vice President, Cloud Engineering at Protegrity, where they led product strategy and engineering for cloud-native and hybrid cloud solutions. Matt also held the position of Director Software Engineering at StreamSets Inc. and Director, Software Engineering at Teradata. Earlier in their career, Matt held managerial positions at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, ThinkLink, Netcom On-Line Communications, Inc., EarthLink Internet, and Symantec. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated their expertise in software engineering and development, successfully leading various projects and initiatives.

Matt Hutton attended California State University, Chico from 1992 to 1996. Matt received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science during their time there. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1992, they attended the University of California, Riverside. No specific degree or field of study was provided for their time at UC Riverside.
