Michael Ferris

Michael Ferris has extensive experience in the power generation industry, currently serving as the Director of Field Operations at HydroPoint since April 2019, focusing on precision surface reinforcement and restoration. Prior to this role, Michael worked at Voith Hydro from January 1995 to April 2019 as a Senior Field Machinist and Site Supervisor, managing machine erection and operations, alongside equipment design implementation and procedural development. Earlier, from January 1984 to January 1995, Michael held the position of Senior Field Machinist and Superintendent at Weldmart, where responsibilities included embedded component machining, cavitation weld repairs, and the development of welding processes and machine tool control modifications.
