Goutham Sridhar

Goutham Sridhar is a Structural Engineer at HyImpulse since August 2023, focusing on structural design and FEA analysis of hybrid rocket motor components to enhance design compliance with ECSS space standards. Prior experience includes serving as an R&T Innovation Project Engineer at Safran, where contributions were made to next-gen economy class aircraft seats through the establishment of numerical protocols for comfort assessment. Additional roles encompass engineering positions at ARCEON B.V. and LTDS, with responsibilities in space structures, materials research, and vibroacoustics. Goutham also gained experience as a CFD and Thermal Engineer at the Gas Turbine Research Establishment and as a Research & Teaching Assistant at Jain University, where involvement included research on thermal barrier coatings for aerospace applications. Academic qualifications include dual MSc degrees in Aerospace Engineering from Centrale Lyon and Université de Lyon, and a B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from Jain University.
