Luís Ferreira

Luís Ferreira is a skilled Structural Engineer currently employed at HyImpulse since June 2023. Previously, Luís served as Structure and Aerodynamic Team Leader at Fenix Rocket from February 2021 to December 2023, where coordination of a seven-member team focused on the design, testing, and assembly of rocket structures, along with developing a sounding rocket for the European Rocketry Challenge. Experience includes being a Team Member for the Air Cargo Challenge 2022 at Aero@UBI, handling structural design and sponsor management, as well as an internship at Albatroz Engenharia, where work involved designing a prototype platform for evaluating aircraft structural integrity using LiDAR. Additionally, Luis held the position of Board Secretary at AEROUBI & AS Covilhã, organizing events and activities for aeronautical engineering students. Luís Ferreira holds a Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Universidade da Beira Interior, completed in 2022.
