Jim Barton

Jim Barton has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Jim started their career at Gasper Corporation in 1993 as a Software Engineer and later became a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed a multi-threaded C++ device management service and improved report performance in Oracle. In 1998, Jim joined NCR as a Software Engineer and then took on the role of Development Lead. During their time at NCR, they managed multiple projects, led the migration of proprietary file structures into Oracle and MS SQL Server, and transitioned to double-byte character sets for internationalization. In 2011, Jim joined Hyosung America as a Software Development Manager and later became the Senior Software Development Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Software Development at Hyosung America.
